.NET Framework 3.5 won't install

I just reset Windows 10 last night, and I need to install .NET Framework 3.5 for a few games + a program.

 

I keep getting this error, and I cannot find a fix on google.

I ran into this problem at work awhile back, i think we fixed it by installing the net frame work through another installer that doesnt use windows updates.

I have 4.0, but I had 3.5 on my old installation of Windows 10.

I did that:

To fix the error codes for Windows 10, follow these steps:

1. Download the Windows Media Creation tool, and create an ISO image locally, or create an image for the version of Windows that you have installed.
2. Configure the Group Policy as in Method 2, but also follow these steps:
   1. Mount the ISO image that's created in step 1.
   2. Point the "Alternate source file path" to the ISO sources\sxs folder from the ISO.
   3. Run the gpupdate /force command.
   4. Add the .Net framework feature.

 

 

-I got stuck on step D, and thought it was to install the framework, but it didn't work.

I'm not sure, I updated Windows 10 to the latest.

Then you're on the anniversary update, anyways you might want to wait until an update fixes this issue.

This isn't something an update would fix...

This is just something that needs a workaround, cause I had it on my old installation.

The anniversary update had a lot of windows 10's ground work re-done.
