Hi,

When I'm running a system stability test using aida64, my fans made these weird noises, it also spins at different speeds even if I set it as a fixed fan speed.

https://clyp.it/yat5lcjl (I've amplified the sound so you can hear it better)

What is the problem here and how can I fix it?

I'm using stock fans from my case (Noctis 450) and my water cooler (Corsair H100i GTX)

I'm not sure but isn't that coil whine?

As @FanBlade sorta point to are you sure the sounds are coming from the fans?

What are you using to monitor and control the fans?

CPU: Intel i7-4790K @ stock for now --- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16Gb --- MOBO: Asus Maximus VII Formula --- GPU: MSI Gaming GTX 980ti --- PSU: Corsair AX860i  ---  Storage: Samsung 850 250gb(OS), 3x Western Digital Blue 3tb (one for game and programs, two for media), 3tb WD Green(somewhat backup) and a Crucial M550 120gb SSD (caching games and programs drive)  --- Case: Fractal Define R5 --- Cooler: Corsair H100i with Noctua 2000rpm, Industrial Fans --- OS: Windows 10 --- Monitor: Asus PB298q + AOC l2260SWD --- Mouse: Logitech G502 Spectrum --- Keyboard: Corsair K70 (Cherry MX Red) Red LED's --- Audio: Audio Engine A2's (yes the originals), Sennheiser HD 58x Jubilee Audio-Technica ATH-AD900x, Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, Ant Lion Mod Mic V4 --- Laptop: Dell XPS 9750

I don't think so, coil whine has higher pitch.

I'm using Corsair Link 4 to control my fans, I'm not sure where did the sound came from but its more audible when I set my fans speed to max.

Is this a fresh build or a new issue?

The h100 fans go over 2000RPM making them rather loud. There could be something up with these. Could you try and isolate the noise by one by one unplugging fans or turning them off in software?

I've just built this about a month ago, I've first ignored this because it only happend when I run my stress test, but I figured that I should fix this problem since I don't want to run into more problems in the future.

After some testing, I've found that the weird noises come from both of my aio fans, or at least that area. Since those fans are hooked up to the cpu block, could it be a software problem?
