GTX 950

Is this thing any good- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127905 ? I plan on using it till GTX 1080Ti comes out and put this card on my secondary budget travelling pc with an i3 6100 in a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv iTX.

What is your GPU budget? A RX 470/60 would probably be better value if you can wait.

but i want the gsync on nvidia cards and im a little bit of an nvidia fanboy

He wants this to use it till the new 1080ti will come out and then he will move this graphics card on his secondary pc

Thats why I am saying it would be better value, the 470 would have a longer life than the already aging 950.

Don't waste your money on a 950. It's shit in DX11 and bigger shit in DX12. Get a 1060.

Then RX 470. Still 70% more powerful than the 950. Even the RX 460 is about 40% better.

Freesync monitors are cheaper, Nvidia isn't inherently better than AMD, they just have more powerful cards cards at the high end, AMD is better for lower-end budget builds.

You still havent told me your GPU budget, I dont know what your full options are. My suggestion is to get a RX 480/70/60, whichever fits your budget and needs best.

I'm not intruding the post. The 470's air cooler is a problematic for my country's weather. Open air or blower cooler? What should I go for?

bought the cheapest zotac gtx950 after sending my card for RMA, great for playing online games like world of warship but probably will not do that well in games like witcher 3..its a budget card anyway so dont expect more
