New computer network problem

ComeT
Go to solution Solved by mcraftax,

Have you installed the network card drivers?

If you have try reinstall them

Hello!

I've just finished my first ever pc and I've downloaded Windows and everything. Though one of my screens won't be detected (running HDMI) and the computer won't find my internet even though the internet cable is plugged in... What's wrong?

you can either

1) get a usb stick and go to your motherboards/network card's website(on another computer), download them then take the usb stick and place it in your pc

2) buy a fast ethernet dongle (https://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WN725N-Wireless-Adapter-150Mbps/dp/B008IFXQFU/)

ha ha, the only driver you need in a dvd or usb these days is the network one and you don't have it :).

Do you have another device you can download the driver onto and then trasfer it across using a usb stick or (micro) sd card?

Yeah, my old computer has a dvd player. Is it the disc in the motherboard box? And then how do I put it onto my new computer?

EDIT: Or do you mean like the guy above to download it from the website? Still from who and how do I put it onto the new computer?
