Crazy mouse pointer

Ok so recently i have encountered a Serious problem with my mouse pointer. What is one of the two main discrete GPU makers? 

 

ITS POSSESSED!!! it literally has a mind of it own, it runs from on side of the screen to the other then everywhere, it clicks by itself closes programs, opens its CRAZY!!!! 

I have Windows 8.1.  I currently have updated the drivers, nothing

i have done a OS Refresh because thats what another forum i read said. It worked for like 8 hours and started doing it again. I am unable to reformat the computer because for some reason its saying im not the Administrator when i am. I have turned of mouse precision! I was told that could cause it to do that as well. Obviously did't work!!!

It has literally taken me 20 mins to write this much cos this Crazy mouse pointer has gone all satanic! 

I am running a laptop with:

Intel I5-4210U CPU

8 gig of ram

64 Bit OS

External mouse and Keyboard

Im am literally at wits end, and im about to take a baseball bat to it then burn it wihile playing Chicago backwards saluting to the almight heavens of the abonable Mouse pointer race!!! i don't know what to do. I can bearly do anything on my laptop now!

Have you tried a different mouse?

clean your mouse. Also, make sure you aren't being pranked with a phone controlled mouse pointer app on your PC. (dc from the net if it stops you are being pranked) otherwise, uninstall the mouse drivers and reinstall, if that doesn't work, get a new mouse.

It don't matter if i have the mouse plugged in or not it still does it. And the mouse is literally a bran new mouse. No cellphones here at the house

I can unplug the mouse and keyboard and just have the mouse touch pad on the laptop and it still does it!!!

its your trackpad, disable it.

I have never had to disable a touch pad before. so yea....... im not an Expert but i went to school for comps. I just can't seem to work around windows 8.1

It depends on the PC, but you can go to device manager and it should be under pointing devices, right click on it and go to properties should be a disable button there. alternatively your Laptop (idk what kind it is) may have a FN key that turns the trackpad off (this is the easiest way in your situation)

sorry had to restart computer. When this crap started i had to restart 1 a day for like two days then it went to 3 times a day now it like every 15 - 20 mins it like it decreasing.

 

Give me a min and let me see if i can disable it.

If i have more problems i will post. Thank you dragon so far so good. you are heaven sent! anyways thank you man. i will keep the thread open. if in 3 days nothing happens i will ask them to close it. i donno how this works on this forum. maybe keep it open for other ppl to post?

Kind of sounds like you should get a can of air and blow out the dust out it may help it last longer than a few minutes. Glad i could help. 

 

(Also i know it's not my place to say, but manually typing your signature in your post is against the TOS just a heads up :P)

thank you about the TOS Policy! whats a better way to put a Signature in?

I know on some forums ppl got like Big butt banners at the bottom of their posts. i like them but i don't like the bulkyness

click your name in the top right go to account settings then signature over on the left and enter it there. It seems the rules have changed since then though and the only signature rules are no images and no advertizing.
