What domain?

I was thinking about making a portfolio/cv website, which at the moment would be... well... empty but... you know it would be a start, at least to show some my skills with web languages.

 

Anyway, what domain should I use?

 

I would have two versions of the website one in italian and one in english, now the .it domain is a bit cheaper but outside Italy I don't know if it's seen as a "trusted" domain, so a classic .com would be a safer option, what do you think?
