What is the difference between h170m ds3h and h170m d3h? Does it matter which one i use for gaming?

Doesn't matter.

Unless you are using those long PCI slots.

One motherboard have 2x short PCI slots and the other have 2x long.

If you are not using any of that, just get cheaper one :)
