My Setup. Need advice

JamesF.
Hello
I actually don't need much, I just need you to tell me what to use and what not to use and if it is good for me.
My setup is mainly used to edit photos (Adobe Photoshop), Videos (Adobe Premiere) & some gaming.
I attached a PDF file which shows the specs of my setup.
The link redirects you to my product list on Amazon.

What is with the 1000W psu ? That is way more than you need.  Also the 750 ti is a weak link if you plan on doing any AAA gaming. And get an SSD as well for the o/s and programs/games.

psu is OVEROVERKILL. A 430 watt is more than enough. Also, even though premiere is cpu intensive, I would recommend something like a gtx 950 for cuda acceleration. You also may want 32 gigs of ram. You can also shave money by getting a hyper 212 cpu cooler. It is the BEST cooler for under $80.

Use pcpartpicker.com for your build. It'll make everything a lot easier.

A list of what you should change:

  • Change th GPU to something like a 1060. Premier can be GPU accelerated so that will help with rendering times
  • That PSU is SERIOUSLY overkill.... You do not need a 1000 watt psu... 650 is more than enough
  • Get 2 sticks of ram. Since you're video editing the extra bandwidth will help
  • Get a 7200 rpm hard drive. They're a lot faster than a 5400 rpm one

If you're thoroughly confused and not sure what I'm saying, give us a budget for your system and me or someone else will get you a parts list going.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
