Nzxt kraken x61

I have like a problem folia of buying older stuff not old but older so I got a 1151 socket and it fits with my processor but I'm wondering about when I upgrade(3-5 years) will I be able to still use this one or do I need to buy new stuff .

So basically my question should I buy nzxt kraken or go for something newer
