Problem with my pc

[IT'S JUST A GAME BRO]

I just installed a new cooler in my own build pc but i was getting very bad fps drops, so i opened cpu-z and my cpu was going from 3800mhz to 1600mhz. Could someone help me and how i have to fix it? Thanks.

Sounds like thermal throttling. Are you sure you applied the thermal paste correctly?

Was already pre-applied.

I think this is the problem because i restarted my pc was totally fine then till i started a game and tabbed out and it started to do it again but now it's okay again.

Think it's thermal throttling just looked the pre-applied thermal paste up nad it said this :   there is pre-applied thermal paste, which is great for one time use and for people who are a little unsure about applying paste but it does mean that if for whatever reason you need to take the cooler from the CPU then you will have to purchase some aftermarket thermal paste.

Do this: download HW Monitor to see temps, then go into game and use windowed mode with lower resolution so you can see your temps while playing and also you can see if your frequency is going down while gaming or when you minimize

Says : Package 103 °C and It's constantly going from 3800mhz to 1600mhz

Yep, that's way too high. You're almost certainly thermal throttling. You must have installed the cooler incorrectly.
