Hello.

I was wondering if anyone could help me pick out a cheap gpu to help cut down on video rendering time. This is the system I use. I know it's fairly old but it does the job fine. I use cyberlink powerdirector 12 which has support for gpu acceleration and I need an amd card as it's the only bramd that supports mpeg 2 encoding with cyberlink.  I'd preferably have it be around $50 US but I'm willing to pay a little more if I have to. I also need one that works without external power as I only have a 250 watt power supply and I don't have much room to upgrade that. Sorry if my requests seem outlandish but I'm a bit new at upgrading a pc.

if you extend your budget to around $100 then there's the RX 460 which is brand new from AMD. It consumes very little power and might be what you're looking for,

Looks like it's still got a few days before release. I  may have to check it out. Thanks very much.
