Not much I can do right?

mcraftax

So TalkTalk, riding on BT's network has gone to this

1 <1 ms 1 ms 1 ms ROUTER [192.168.1.1]
2 2356 ms 1589 ms 1410 ms host-89-242-48-1.as13285.net [89.242.48.1]
3 * 1806 ms 1841 ms host-78-151-230-139.as13285.net [78.151.230.139]
4 1600 ms 2559 ms 2033 ms host-78-151-230-138.as13285.net [78.151.230.138]
5 2919 ms * 2233 ms host-78-144-0-71.as13285.net [78.144.0.71]
6 2065 ms 3124 ms 1872 ms 74.125.48.13
7 * * * Request timed out.
8 2022 ms 2946 ms 2321 ms 72.14.239.23
9 2955 ms * 1886 ms google-public-dns-a.google.com [8.8.8.8]

It would normally take about 36ms to get to 8.8.8.8

So all i can do really is to phone up TalkTalk and tell them to get there s*** together right? (i have gone all the LAN tricks but none have helped as it is their problem like usual)

Thanks

Seems like high latency on the switches after yours, there won't be much you can do on your end. Is your download speed affected?

yep down from 6.8mbps to can't run a speed test because of latency issues but youtube was getting about 700kbps.
