Intel i5-6600k or i7-6700 non k on a h170 mobo

Good evening folks, I have a question that bugs me for a while now. My mobo is a Gigabyte H170-n WIfi  with an i5-6600 non k, I've been thinking about upgrading the CPU to a K version of 6600 or getting an i7-6700 non k. Pricing here in Australia is terrible as always :/ I'm also using my rig for games and when I feel like it, I use VN's and I video edit.... Cheers :D

Mobo: Gigabyte H170-n Waifu

Option 1: Intel i5-6600k

Option 2: Intel i7-6700 non K

What the hey....

There's no point getting a K CPU on H170 - you can't overclock on it (has to be Z170). I'd get the 6600 or the 6700.

CPU: i7 6700k (4.7 GHz) | GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 FTW (OC) | Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z170 S | Cooling: Corsair H110i GTX | Storage: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO M.2 + 1TB WD Black | RAM: 16GB (2x8) Corsair Vengeance LED (White) 3000MHz | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX | PSU: Corsair RM850i | WiFi Card: TPLink Archer T9E | Case Fans: Noctua iPPC-2000 PWM (3x 120mm in), 2x Noctua NF-A14 PWM 140mm (radiator, painted black), Fractal Venturi HP-14 (1x 140mm out)  | OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

On that mobo you can't easily overclock the K part so it's pointless. The default turbo of the 6700 and the hyperthreading would help more. That is not a lot but the k chip on your current mobo wouldn't help at all.

if your VN refers to virtual machine, the i7 will definitely be a better choice.
