Delidding CPU in Switzerland

Hi,

I would like to know if there is someone here that know how to properly delid a CPU (6700K) that offer service in Switzerland.

There is no need to delid a 6700k. 

 

Linus showed how to do it along with proof it wasnt needed beyond sending your warranty away.

If there's one thing you shouldn't trust Linus is benchmarking / testing. His videos usually suck at that.

 

Not to mention that he went for the half ass delid with the IHS back, rather than the ballz to the wallz (and proper) way of doing things, which is use the naked chip with no IHS.

I get that much about his videos. Ive delidded in the past and it gave little to no result. 

 

I was going to do it with mine, and just bare die it. His video came out the same time and I saw his results and changed my mind.

This is off-topic, but what voltage is your 6700K running at for 5GHz (and temps)? Just curious because about to install my own (and OC of course).
