Change of ip address.....

Hi, my friend has a macbook pro and she had to change the ip address of her computer to look at the AP score. She did this because she lives in Korea and the only way to look at her score early was to change the ip address of use the vpn. She chose to change her ip address to one of the states. However, nowdays her chrome browser shows stuff like lightningspeed login or something, where she can not go into any sites. She needs help and I can not do anything to solve the problem. Help please!
