MSI GAMING M7 vs ASUS SABERTOOTH Z170 S

Which is better for 1080 gaming rig ?

Both are almost similar price at my place malaysia..

Which will perform better ?

My friend asked me to build a gaming rig for him not budget but balance price rig..he now got 2 options he gave me..my place hard to find out gigabyte motherboard ..most are asus and msi  ..hope u all can help me with this

The board will have no impact on GPU performance. Get whichever is cheaper honestly. I personally have the MSI M7 and got it mainly for looks.

Well both boards are basicly fine.

I personaly like the Asus Z170 Sabertooth Mark S a bit more.

Mainly because of the looks, but also in terms of overall build quality.

I have the Z170 S. It looks so sick - you can look here for my build ;). Both are really good. The Z170 S has an amazing number of fan headers though which is really nice. It functions great, I have no complaints.

P.S. I've changed my case to Enthoo Evolv ATX so this isn't up to date, but I haven't made new one because also swapping to 6700K this evening (sold 6600k at no loss on eBay lol).
