TheNewBoston's tutorials are not outdated at all. The code will work with the new VS 2012 IDE. And what darkstar said. MSDN gives great explanations of each thing in C#, and sometimes gives an example.

Barncules actually has a good little series on starting C#, check it out on YouTube, he takes you through from the beginning.

I agree. I love his C# tutorials. Here's the first one, OP.

After the first he kinda picks up speed and assumes you did a bit of learning outside of the video series. He links the MSDN resource in the description.

 

I want to start learning C# but was wondering which was the best tutorial. I usually look at thenewboston but are his tutorials outdated? Thanks!

Other than what I listed above, there's a "Head First C#" book that you can find around, but the pinned topic has a ton more information than I can provide.
