Short question, hope sombody can help me.

 

I am searching for something like a Display Switch

In my case i want to use my PC for my Workstation and for Multimedia, but i want the Workstation in another Room

I can pull HDMI or DP or Thunderbolt cable through to the other Room but cable lengh will reach about 30 meter

I don't want all Display's active at once either the 3 monitor's for Workstation or the other three for Multimedia

I want on each side a support for 3 monitor or TV's

Lan is already in both Rooms

The best and easiest option would be to use something like TeamViewer. It's also free and you won't need to physically connect your display. Issue might be using multimedia/games via this method but for working on files - just fine.

 

Physical HDMI cable won't go too far. I have one 15m cable I believe. Not the best option, unless you can find some amplifier. But then you need kb/mouse anyway.

But i think for Teamviewer you need two RIGS, or am i wrong?
