i found a deal on 2x GTX 970 G1 Gaming that have at least 1+ year garanty.

 

Both for 360$ 

 

Is it a good deal?

Very good deal, I would assume you would SLI. Make sure you have a good enough PSU to go with it though.

yes, mobo is also SLI compatible, bridge is ready and 760w Corsair 80+ plat PSU should be fine

Wow, single gtx 970's are worth 350$+ here

I would go for it, unless of course you are able to get a RX480/1060 for similar prices.

Well, you'll be getting close to GTX 980ti performance, but with less vRam.

That would depend on exchange rate, it would also cost at least $400 AUD to buy a single 970 here.

I can hit crippling VRAM limits on a single 970 in rare situations, which would be much more likely with SLI. This will be the largest drawback to the setup.

Be careful with warranty. People assume that it is easy transferred but in most cases it is much more complicated. If you get purchase receipt with no name on it and it is for local store - you are more than likely safe. Online shops will mostly deal with buyer directly and not you.

 

As for value - good deal. I personally am not an advocate of SLI but if that's your thing - go for it.

Well GTX 970's go for 300€ in Spain and thats like 335$

The US have the best tech prices, it costs alot more here. That is why I am going to buy some of my parts from the US, just have to be careful of shipping costs.

I cant buy from the US since Taxes and Shipping are Over Priced, Bought a 100$ part once which weighed 1kg and I got charged around 60$ in Shipping and Taxes.

IKR, shipping is expensive. But for a build I am planning, I am using a 1070. Here in Aus that would go for $770 (AUD) but I can get it shipped from the US for $660. Its about choosing carefully about what would save the most money buying from overseas.
