Looking to upgrade from my 6 year old Dell XPS 16 laptop to something better. Looking to play games like TWW and FC4 at max or close to max settings at 1080p. I don't need any peripherals. Budget is right around $1000USD with some wiggle room for things that make sense (I ended up at $1090 currently). This is what I have so far - let me know what you think! Thanks!

this'll give you pretty playable frame rates on a 60hz monitor

PS I built a system around your requests on PCpartpicker  http://pcpartpicker.com/list/KMWL2R

if I were you I'd go with a non k cpu and a 240gb ssd and a 1tb hard drive that way you could

shave some cost of and in the real world overclocking your cpu is fun the performance to price ratio is to high

in my opinion but your config is fine ;)
