PLEASE HELP ME ANDROID GURUS :( Data Recovery

please please please please help me here, I know it's a stretch but please help me.

 

So, my cunt of a brother stole my old phone (Oneplus One, 64GB, Android Marshmellow based on CyanogenMod) which I had kept as a backup phone and WHICH HAD OVER A YEAR OF VERY SENSITIVE, IMPORTANT MESSAGES, PHOTOS, ETC on it and factory wiped the thing - thinking he'd get to inherit the phone. Now I know factory wipes may be forever but please can someone help me here  I powered on the phone to a "Welcome to Cyanogen" page and I really would like anyone to tell me how to recover as much data/photos as I can off my device. I have so many memories that would be forgotten if I can't get my old data back, all my texts and photos of past relationships, with now deceased family members, I really need to get the data back. I'll even pay if it works.

 

From my understanding, the data is still on the phone, but dedicated as "free storage" ? Is there anyway to dump all the storage and files before they're overriden or is Android smarter than that?
