recently starting having some issues a few weeks ago and starting to get annoyed at it now.

to list, using netflix or amazon prime video causes a green screen with any browser, using the latest AMD drivers

Talking about GPU's no crossfire working at all, top card fully boosts to 1100 while the second card just sits at 300 on any game, xfire is turned on in crimson.

also having an issue where at random, a USB device will disconnect, it seems completely random, it could be my headset, my keyboard, my wireless xbox one adapter, and if I plug my webcam in, I just get a BSOD. Other than the blue screen, they turn back on in around a second, but doesn't always work completely after this, for example if my wireless adapter I have to remove the USB and plug back in before I can reconnect the controller, which isn't helpful in games.

Any thought??

Mhh don't think its hardware related but a think you can definitely try is first use DDU and then install amd drivers might fix the green screen problem and crossfire issues.

for the usb disconnect it might be your headset but might be your headset, if nothing works do a clean install of windows as it will, if software related, fix your problem.

DDU : http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

was thinking about doing a clean install, I have tried the clean AMD drivers and it didn't help, I don't the USB is related to a particular device as it happens regardless of what it plugged in, if Im just on youtube for example the keyboard might go, or in game the controller will boop and drop out,

What windows version do you use btw?

You could try to reinstall windows usb drivers.

too much stuff plugged into it. to many different drivers. is the ps good enough to supply power to the "non-essentials? what happens if you eliminate all but main drive, all but main controller?

what stuff is running at start up that doesn't need to be?

what opsys?

guess i'll edit........ motherboard? maybe firmware updates or new bios or mb drivers.

His psu is good enough for his build don't think its hardware related at all to be honest.

win 10 pro 64bit

Mhh all your problems are somehow related to windows might try to repair windows.

Else I wouldn't even bother with trying to solve these issues as a windows reinstall would most likely fix it as it did for my issues.

Just a quick question did you upgrade to windows 10 or clean install?

Since upgrading has a 50/50 chance of fcking up a lot of stuff. (I got a performance problems on my cpu and second pc wouldn't even boot)

Though have you tried disabling crossfire? since it isn't a rock solid feature and can cause stutter and input lag in games and other graphical glitches outside of games.

too much stuff plugged in as in too many USb devices? because offices PC's ive used in the past can cope with 4? please read that sentence in a confussed voice not sarcastically.

drivers wise I do clean out old ones, the ones on there now are being used currently, so without removing hardware I can't do much there

PSU wise I think it runs around 550w under gaming load, also needed to swap out the 600w version so I have the 4 PCI connectors to the 2 GPU's

Haven't tried disconnecting hard drives as I usually use 2 of them, SSD with the OS and music or games on the other

not played with start up much, so could be there, but normally happens after a least half an hour after power up

opsys??? you lost me with that one

clean install as I found out the copy of win 7 I got from a friend wasn't legit, wanted genuine so I bought it on amazon about a week after launch and along the a new SSD as I was using a 64gb one at the time, too small :P

I don't know what that means unless he means that really old game...

the drivers are up to date but I have not changed the BIOS as the board is only a few months old and I think has the newest one but not checked in a while

opsys......... operating system, but i see it's w10.

very important item in your last post.......... " normally happens after a least half an hour after power up "......... could be a heat issue. motherboard getting hot in the cpu area/SB getting hot transferring all that information.

have you tried opening the device manager and going through and trying to update everything in there?

edit again......... have you gone to the  board manufacturers site and looked through all the updates ( not just BIOS )?

after having a look through their site now, nothing newer than I have installed now.

could be heat, although I would be surprised as today for example, the PC is set to power saver to let the CPU run pretty much constantly at 1.4ghz which gives me a temp of 18 degrees and the keyboard went.

what happens if you change it from power saver mode? I never run that.

but I'd still look at the heat issue.

same thing, I switch it between power saver when I'm only using say google chrome, keeps the CPU cooler, and then back to balanced when gaming or editing

so 24 hours and a windows install later, I can now watch netflix, the USB issue stayed, it was today however I noticed that ASUS did not ever release a chipset driver to win 10...

win 8 driver installed and it all works now...

Edit, never mind, back to square one, reinstalling windows has done nothing useful at all. Every issue is back and as annoying as ever.
