I am trying to put together a budget build for under $850. I already posted this in the Workbench and this is what I came up with in the end.

I only have only one question. Will the cpu and the gpu bottleneck? I will most likely be overclocking once I get it.

it would not bottleneck even at stock. if you mean 100% load on cpu with bottleneck.

but you will get better average framerate when you overclock obviously. and your minimum fps will jump what i consider best factor  :) 4.5 is good clock with this proc and you have sufficient cooling

Looks good spec and no it shouldn't i have a FX5300 and run crossfire its fine.

maybe a small liquid cooler in the future to save room in the case, and hybrid drive (SSHD) instead of normal HDD.

and yeah 16gig of ram is normal now stick with it,

got to love Asus components

You sure about that? BF3 only uses about 5-6. Give it time i doubt that it will.

Either way jes asking for bottleneck, not much build suggestion.

I do believe you meant alternative. And yes, the 770 would be nice if I ever get something like a shield.

That motherboard is not going to get you anywhere near 4.0GHz, so don't plan on overclocking.
