Should my CPU be this hot?

Sounds normal if you have visual studio AND downloading a game AND web browsing. Look at your CPU usage in task manager and kill the task that's highest I suppose :)

I have an i7-4710HQ and it's reaching 80-90 degree Celsius when all I have running is Firefox, Visual Studio and downloading a game. Is this normal?

Overclocked? What cpu cooler do you have on?

CPU: Intel i5 4670K 4.0GHz // Motherboard: MSI Gaming 3 Motherboard // RAM: 8GB Kingstone 1833MHz  // GPU: Saphire R9 390 Nitro // HDD: 500GB Toshiba // SSD: 120GB Sandisk // PSU: 550w 

Games: F1 2016, GTA 5, TrackMania Stadium, Assetto Corsa, Project Cars, COD Black ops 1. 

Huge fan of Formula 1.

It's not overclocked. I'm using a laptop. I don't remember the laptop to be this hot in the past. I only started noticing it recently because I can hear my fans ramping up. I have a Clevo P650SG.

And some new after market paste like the MX-4 will low his temperature alot
