7950, you can get them for the same price as the 7870 in most places

GTX 650 2 GB vs 7870 ghz non oc model ? 

 

ok which one is better for gaming and get less heated up  ? 

 

these two cards lie between my friends budget which one should he buy ?

 

and if u say 660 he can only get the 1 gb model of it as its expensive

7870 no contest. The vanilla 650 is a joke, not even close to the AMD.

650 vs 7870 isn't even fair, 7870 no question.

7870 is much better, and like Coolbeans said, you can probably find a 7950 for around the same price.
