Hello,

In my laptop i have an integrated Intel video card and an Nvidia one, and i thing i'm using my Intel becouse when i go in my Computer and click properties i see this. http://prikachi.com/images.php?images/126/8854126F.png (Sorry if i'm wasting someone's time but i'm just pretty new with this stuff)

Things like NVIDIA Optimus will make some programs not detect the dedicated graphics, just like how when I did the Steam VR Performance Test on my laptop with a 980M, it only states my GPU is a HD4600.

 

EDIT: If Device Manager picks up your dedicated GPU, you are good to go.

Just check Device Manager to see if it detects an NVIDIA display adapter. You won't be able to use the NVIDIA one unless you're in game though - nothing's wrong, it's just for saving power (since discrete GPU uses a s***ton of power compared to Intel HD). You can force NVIDIA from the NVIDIA Control Panel for specific programs if you need to.
