Hello,

 

My native laptop screen resolution is 1366x768 and the laptop is Dell Inspiron 3000 15inch with Intel core i3,nvidia 920m  can i have bigger resolution than the native.

You can: 
 

1. change screen scaling 
2. add a custom resolution like 1600x900 or 1920x1080 in the nvidia control panel
3. or just use a separate monitor

I have 3 options on my nvidia control panel , Ajust image settings and preview, Manage 3D settings and Set PhysX Configuration what to click?

my laptop is only with HDMI cable and i have an VGA cable on the monitor.

And why exactly you want a better resolution ? Do you play Counter Strike or something on your laptop ?

Ok well in this case you can buy a HDMI to VGA female adapter to connect your external monitor.
