Computer Turning on

i have had this issue for awhile now, my computer decides to randomly turn on without me telling to do so. When i look up in command prompt it tells me it was triggered by the power switch, which i had not touched. I have been thinking it is the button shorting out from my case, or other things that i dont know of. i would like some help trying to undo this issue.

i dont but i am pretty sure no one comes in my room, leave my door locked and what not. And it has happened when we are all out of the house at the same time.

wouldnt that come up as a different thing than power button when i do last wake in command prompt?

Turn off the power switch when you're not using it!

What happens if you remove the power switch cables from the case from the motherboard

Ah, perhaps there's a loose or broken wire somewhere?

it wouldn't do it. it is hard to tell because sometimes i can go weeks without it, some just days. I had had it unplugged for  a week and it didn't do it. So that is why i came up with it doing something to do with it shorting or something.

I've had this problem with my PC before. Do you have A. Windows 8.1 or B. A Logitech mouse?
