should i rma my gpu ?

ok a week ago it was reaching 120 C so i cleaned dust of it and changed TIM 

on 28 september 

 

after it was reaching 65 c max was 75 C in games 

 

 

now on 8 october its reaching 80 C in games 

 

is it broken or what ?

 

should i rma it ?

What are your fan speeds on the card?

its on auto 

 

in games it mostly runs on 50 or 68 % 

 

but on 100 % it doesn't go above 80 C

My 7970 sits on around 60 - 70 whilst gaming, graphics cards can typically withstand up to around 90 - 100c, so no damage would occur.

If it was reaching 120c then some is wrong if all the fans are working. Rma it

whats ur room temp and ur a lucky guy i wish my gpu stood around 70

I don't have a thermometer to hand, but I usually just get my room temp readings from my CPU, as some how it always runs at room temp.
