Are you asking about how to make a power sutton? I'm pretty sure they are momentary switches.

Okay.. So lets say I'm making a wooden chassis from scratch . I do not have the Front panel where my on/off and restart buttons are there. So I brought the Vandal switch to mount it on some parts of the wood. I need to connect it to the motherboard . where and how do I do that?

sorry if my question earlier on was not clear.

Place the button where ever you want on the front of your case, connect the switch to the PWR contacts on your motherboard. To find the correct pins look in your mobo manual or look it up online if you threw the mobo manual out.

So long as there is a momentary short across the correct pins on the mobo the system will boot which means you can fashion some pretty out there ways for turning on a pc.

Okay. I might need an extender wire from switch to header on mobo. do you know any recommendation?

Use thin gauge wire and splice it.
