gigabyte gaming 5 audio problems

for some reason the audio ports on my gaming 5 dont register with my compuer the only port that works as of now is the front speaker out(green one) iv tried using all of the ports to see if i could use one of them but for some reason the pc picks up that something was plugged on and gives me the option to set it as line in or speaker or headphones..etc...but however afterwards theres no sound or anything registered within the sound manager like my pc isn't actually registering it ..as of right now i am being forced to use the front i/o for my headphones which are not strong enough to power them

sound blaster is telling me there are no audio devices plugged in
