G2A

I tried to buy The Witcher 3 on G2A with my debit card and it says that my payment method has failed if. If someone could help me out I would be grateful!

Is there enough money in your account to buy the game?

Speaking of which, are you sure it isn't a silly error like making a typo, @SillyGnark?

No it is not

Do you have account protection, and are your G2A purchases rare?

Well, if you have account protection, then it's likely that the bank flagged it as a possible stolen card and blocked the transaction. Call your bank and see. If that proves unfruitful, then report the issue to G2A as an error.

This happens to me on Steam.

How do you have a debit card without a bank account?

Your bank may have blocked it, my bank blocked G2A the first time I used it.

At least clear cache & try on a different browser. G2A's payment site is pretty poor, I'm always getting errors.

If it continues to not work, you could try one of the other payment methods? (eg Paypal, Skrill etc)

I have to say it, do NOT use your Debit card, especially at a place like G2A. Debit cards are for withdrawing money from ATMs, and that should really be all you use them for. Use a credit card instead, or PayPal. Because security. If you're responsible and know not to spend outside your limits using a CC is no worse than Debit or cash, just pay off what you owe at the end of each month. I've heard horror stories of dealing with shitty banks when your chequing account gets ripped off, but rarely have I heard people having too much trouble getting Visa or American Express to cooperate should you find yourself in a jam.
