Posted July 26, 2016 Hi all, this is all said in the title, I am getting a new raspberry pi in the mail and wanted to know if anyone wanted a guide they could follow along with on installing and setting up Retropie (Emulation Distro for retro gaming) *ROMS NOT LINKED AS IT IS PIRACY, THIS WILL ONLY BE SHOWN AS A HOW-TO USE AT YOUR OWN RISK OR Kodi, a in-home media center software. OR BOTH! I know a whole lotta guides are out there for Kodi and Retropie, but I wanted to make a sort of all inclusive "Mega Guide" Of sorts. Anyway, I wanted to know if you would want to see a guide on it or not. *Also if Mods permit it* Spoiler Gaijin-Oni: CPU Ryzen 7 5800x Motherboard MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS RAM Corsair 4x8GB 3200MHz Vengeance RGB Pro GPU RX 7900 XT Case Cooler Master Masterbox 5 Storage 1TB WD BLACK SN850 NVME 1x 8TB Seagate Drives (Shucked) 2x 1TB HP SSD's PSU EVGA 1000w PSU Display(s) Viotek 1440p 144hz 27in LG 4K 32in Acer 1080p 27in Cooling Corsair H100i Capellix Keyboard Red Dragon K552 Modded Mouse Corsair M65 Elite Sound SoundBlaster Pro Audigy (Sennheiser HDXX's) Operating System Windows 11 64-bit Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/632588-would-you-like-a-raspberry-pi-tutorial/ Share on other sites
 Posted July 26, 2016 id love a guide which was aimed towards a techy person who knows computers but has no idea what a pi really is. all the reviews i read are full idiots guides or pro guides, and when you sit somewhere in the middle both can be equally hard to follow. Posted July 26, 2016 I'd like to see kodi, I've used it for months but have yet to figure out how to get a decent movie addon like pheonix or exodus to work. Bunch of no name videos or channels or the addon crashes. . _/ V\ / / / << | ,/ ] ,/ ] ,/ | / \ \ / / | | | ______| __/_/| | /_______\______}\__} Spoiler [I5-12600k | 32gb DDR5 6000 | RTX5070 | 2x1tb M.2] [Ryzen 5 1600 | 16gb DDR4 3200 | GTX1030 | 4x 8tb HDD] Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/632588-would-you-like-a-raspberry-pi-tutorial/#findComment-8166210 Share on other sites
 Why else would it have so much cat videos?
