My PC freezes and makes a buzzing noise.

edlp456

Hello, this past few days I've been having this problem. My PC freezes for a moment and it makes a buzzing sound (I'm using headphones). It only lasts around 2 seconds and then goes back to normal. It's been happening more and more often recently, and I haven't been doing anything too extreme, just watching youtube videos and listening to music. These are my specs: AMD FX 4100 Processor, 8GB RAM, AMD R9 380 Graphics Card, ASRock n68 vs3 motherboard. Also I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. What do I do?

Current specs: Gigabyte Aorus x370 Gaming K7 motherboard

Sapphire 5600XT

16 GB G-Skill TridentZ RAM

Ryzen 5 1600 CPU

EVGA 650W Gold Power Supply

Sounds like an AMD video driver crash. I used to get them all the time. Would suggest a complete uninstall and reinstall of the driver.

Alright, I'll try it out and see if it works, thanks

EDIT: Apparently there are some new drivers I didn't notice, I'll see if by installing them it fixes the problem

Okay. It worked until now. This time the same thing happened but it didnt stop and a blue screen appeared. I freaked out and I turned it off so I don't really remember what it said. Now I'm scared to turn it on, I feel like I'm gonna make things worse. What do I do?
