Wireless HDMI

Anyone got any experience with this stuff?

 

basically just transmitter then receiver for far away monitors n such, was wondering if it's any good

Seems over priced. Never used any but i heard that if they are stand up ones and not the tiny dongles they should be fine.

if possible use a wire wireless always slow down alot

I'm well aware of the issue with wireless, I'm just wondering if anyone's familiar with this at all.

 

I personally only use cables, but was wondering about this since my long-thought to be gone dad bought this stuff for his work.

 

again, doesn't matter about $$$ or wireless, performance-wise, is it even acceptable?  I've never heard people actually using this kind of solution so

I am too wondering if anyone has tested these. My PC is across the room from my TV, and I can't determine an acceptable way to run the HDMI cable I used to use with my projector to my flat panel. I used to run it on the ceiling but it looked horrible spanning a 12' ceiling.

I'll just ask my dad about his experience, hopefully it's good - because it would be neat to use it to avoid long cables in certain situations
