Cheap 1440p monitor with over 100hz and 1ms refresh rate.

I am looking for a high response rate 1440p monitor for about $300. Would I be better off looking for a 1080p monitor with 144hz refresh rate?

Unless you are set on 1440p, your best option is to go for a 1080p 144hz monitor, of course this depends on your budget because what you are asking for generally costs upwards of 500USD
