Trying to set up mic for little sis on win 7, and when I type in microphone at the start menu and select "set up a microphone" it says "your current default audio [something] does not support this at this time"

Is it a USB mic? Do you have the latest sound drivers supported by your motherboard?

I edit my posts a lot.

I dont think you are supposed to type in microphone in the windows search bar, I think thats just for testing your levels like how loud or soft the microphone is. And to your question on how it doesn't work, can you tell me what microphone it is and search it up if there is any drivers because that might be the case.

What should I put here?
