HDMI Not working.

Hi guys,

 

so basically the problem is that my hdmi it's not working for some reason.

My Laptop is a Acer Aspire V3-571G, and i just don't understand why it's not working, because it did already before. It should not be a damage hdmi port, because i don't use it that often.

But the fact is that it only gives me a black screen on any devise that i connect it in to. I can see the display on my pc, but it says it's not recognized, but it even matches the resolution of the other display if i select "mirror" but apart from that nothing.

And on the display it self noting, just a "no signal". 

 

I hope you can help me out of these one.

Are you sure the problem isn't the cable?

Check the cable I had 2 HDMI cables break on me while testing PCs. You might also have static shocked the HDMI port and broke it.

I'm sure the problem it's not the cable, i've tested multiple ones.

I was hoping that was something regarding software.
