Hi guys,

So I will start going to university this September but I need a loptop to make my studies easier. My main job will be programming, coding and etc. Maybe light photoshop, maybe light 3d work. I am guessing that I will code with visual studio or Unity. So I need a laptop that could power this up with no problem and would make my job easier to deal with. At home I have quite decent computer, so the laptop will be used during the day.

For now I am looking into Dell xps 13 2015, but I am starting to get doubts about the size of the screen and the CPU and RAM power. Will i5, 13inch screen and 8gb of ram will be enough? Please share your opinion and suggestions.

My budget is about 1500 eur.

An i5 could work, depending on which i5. The screen size is mostly personal preference but I think 13in is a bit small for graphic design. 8gb RAM might be pushing it, though, for graphic design.

The ASUS ROG GL752VW-DH74 might be a good option, though marketed towards gamers. it has a 6700HQ and 16GB RAM, along with a 960M

Yeah.. It looks to me like a big junk to carry around. I would like to go with a laptop which is more like ultrabook style, light, fast, stylish.
