Hello. I have a refurbished Dell Optiplex 780 Desktop being shipped from Amazon that's going to be used as the family's  PC. I plan to put windows 10 on it when it arrives but the problem is that it'll be here around August 2...

So would I still be able to get windows 10 free if I download it now, put it on usb, and install it on the Dell in August?

I believe it comes with a pre installed Windows 10.

Otherwise no you can't upgrade for free since its past the date.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Yeah read the reviews and some people had windows 10 while others don't or didn't specify. The description says it's windows 7 but hopefully the sellers are generous.

If you want windows 10 you can get a key and installer for £20(ish).

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
