My 3 year old HP Laptop had water spilled on it about a year ago, it still works but the laptop is slowly dying.  Is it a bad idea to plug new peripherals, (Ex. Razer Mamba) into the USB ports, as I believe that this will slowly destroy the hardware on the new mice and the computer will die and bring the mice down with it.  Sidenote: Mice has 2 year warranty.

HP Laptop

Specs:

CPU - Intel Core i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz

Memory - 8.00 GB (RAM)

System - x64 bit

Graphics - Intel integrated graphics (comes with CPU)

USB ports don't have the current (amps) or voltage capabilities to fry it. You can even try plugging your mice into a 240V wall adapter. It won't fry because the USB interface can't supply dangerous wattages to it

Blue screens eh? Did you try setting it to Wumbo?
