storm Weird storm website

I got bored one night and just started searching random things, found this,Click here looked into the files a little bit, found that it was last updated in 2009, also, I found some files that end in .storm

So yeah...

Actually, it seems to be used to this day, found another directory that shows that it updates for quite often, everyday looks like...

[Atmos]

That appears to be an FTP server run by noaa, or the National Oceanic Atmosphere Administration, which is responsible for the majority of weather reports, warnings, and statistics here in north america.

 

How on earth did you find that directory?

I just put in a bunch of math problems in google as one thing

I don't even know what to say anymore.

Neat though that they have their own file format. It also makes a lot more sense if you view the ftp server, on an ftp client.

 

I also appear to have found a folder marked with the date may 2020 rofl. Whatta typo

The point of noaa's hurricane center is to inform the public about hurricanes and supply scientists with data.

Not giving access would be quite counterproductive
