Do i need windows disc

You can download the ISO from here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8ISO

and burn it to a CD or USB.

 

If you install before July 29, you are still able to get the upgrade.

After the upgrade, if you do run into issues, you can simply do a reinstall of Windows 10 directly with the Windows 10 installation media. When you reinstall, it should activate Windows automatically but if it doesn't, simply use your Windows 8.1 key.
