1. Budget & Location

$750 US

2. Aim

Gaming, School Work, Entertainment. Mainly for CSGO and LOL. However I would like to be able to play any new title that comes out 1080p 60fps

3. Monitors

I do NOT have a monitor and I was looking at $200 144hz options.

4. Peripherals

I have a SS Rival 300 mouse, but no keyboard. I prefer to have a mechanical tenkeyless one.

I have 661 evo headphones and a modmic.

I'm not sure if I need windows or not as I have upgraded from windows 8 once on an old pc to windows 10. Where can I redownload my claimed copy?

5. Why are you upgrading?

I currently have no PC at all

My original idea was:

I3 6100- 120

Rx 470- 150

Evga 500w- 40

Rosewill srm-01 (I prefer a small case so that it won't take much room on my desk.)- 20

Pny 240gb ssd- 65

Kingston 1x8gb ddr4- 40

Gigabyte h110 micro atx- 50

~490

AOC Freesync 144hz 1080p- 210

Tomoko Keyboard- 40

Long mouse pad for keyboard and mouse- 10

~260

~750

What I wonder is, do I need to put more money into the CPU or GPU and less into the monitor?

Yes, there's a bottleneck here with the CPU but it wouldn't matter much with games like LOL and CSGO. The G4400 is just temporary until you can save up for an i5.
