Windows installation issue Dos preinstalled format HDD?

Laptop has just free dos preinstalled.

I'm trying to install windows on it.

It tells me HDD is fat and needs NTFS.

But when I try to format HDD ( from the windows installer) it notes that ALL HDD will be deleted.

I'm afraid I will delete the boot files and have issues with this..

What to do??

You must delete all the files to reinstall. Delete them. You will delete all the freedos boot files and replace them with windows boot files.

Will bios boot files will still be there?

Is there a risk I delete and fuck up so pc won't boot (brick) ?

Not when you format properly. Windows install will have all things it needs. Remember that all new disks need to be formatted before installing OS.
