graphics card selection advice

Hello i would be obliged if any one can help me with the problem i have .

my current config is 

Processor - amd phenom 2 x6 1090 t i am using the stock heatsink

mobo - gigabyte ga 880gm usb 3 

psu - cm extreme 460 w  . i checked on cooler master site this psu is discontinued 

case - cooler master elite 430

ram - starlite 6 gb 1600 mhz 3 sticks

hdd - wd black 1 tb , i use it for boot and storage no ssds.

current gpu - zotac 610 gt 2gb synergy edition.

 

i am thinking of buying a EVGA 750ti ftw.the 610 is not good at all .for gaming 

 

the question i have is will my motherboard be compatible with the new card i am planning to buy. or will there be problems.

What games will you be playing?

 

And your motherboard should accept any GPU.

cs go, dota 2, mainly but some AAA titles in low  like  battlefield , cod and assassins creed

The 750 Ti is a very good card for what it uses. If your PSU can handle a 950 or 960 I would look into those but my vote would be for the 750 Ti(ny).

 

EVGA and Gigabyte have the best 750 Ti's.
