Hapened to me once. To fix it you need a Windows 7 install DVD or USB. Boot from it and open command prompt (i think it was Shift + F10) and ther type "bootrec.exe /FixMbr" without the quotes. It should say "The operation completed successfully" and you should be able to boot to Windows 7 after rebooting.

Hey forum!

So today, I decided to install some kali linux onto my system(because why not). I found that it messed with my booting, so i just wiped the partition off my secondary hard drive.

 

I rebooted and got into my Windows 7, but when I shut my PC down, and restarted it, all I got after post was (photo here)

 

Anyone know how to untangle this mess?

Thanks man, worked perfect.

I would like to point out as well that you can do this with a Windows 10 Installation DVD/USB as well.
