I'm currently looking for good gaming PC builds and finding out as much as I can about building a good computer for 3D games, from Minecraft to even making my own things in example Unreal Engine 4. I'm asking if the PC I'm hoping to build will work, and what OS I should use (Windows only). I'm probably only going to have 1 1920*1080 monitor, but may upgrade to 2 or 3 if I really need more space to work on things. I've found and good PC that I may like, and I've changed a few things to my liking. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/gP4cYr This build will cost $1338 AUD without an OS yet, but I would like to know if it will actually work the way I want it to. Will it run Unreal Engine 4? How well can it run games like TF2 at high settings? Also, I would like to have a bit more than I need for what I want to do explained in this post, in case I want to get better games in the future or if I make things that will require good specs. Thanks.

I don't know, my MacBook 256GB and I've already used half of it :/, though should I get an SSD and 2TB? I've seen a lot of people getting SSDs and hard drives but I'm not sure why. Could you or someone else explain the benefits of it? Should I put the OS and programs/games onto the SSD but all personal files/projects onto the HDD? I was thinking that the SSD could have the OS for faster boot times but I'm not really sure. Thanks.

Go for Skylake (i5 6500 + B150/H170 + DDR4 RAM). Also, $100 for a 212 EVO?! Get a beQuiet! PURE ROCK instead.

The 3TB Barracudas are known to be not that reliable. I'd advise going for a 1TB HDD with a 250GB SSD instead.

GTX 970s are obsolete now due to the RX 480. I'd advise waiting for the aftermarket variants such as the Sapphire Nitro.

Yeah with SSD Programms and OS start up a whole lot faster. It's pretty much the best upgrade you can do.

What OS should I have?

windows 10 for dx12 support. btw, that ssd is rubbish. get the sp550 or trion ssds instead. also, you dont really need the heatsink, you can use the stock cooler instead. otherwise its fine.
