So youtube magically cleans up the spot, but makes sure it puts it back when OP exits fullscreen?

I know it sounds terribly weird and illogical, but that was my experience. Was just sharing my odd experience as a plausible solution.

Maybe try one of these type of videos some say it seems to help with a bad pixels,

And Whys everyone attacking someone with trying to help. Ill tell a weird story aswell like @MVPernula because not every problem is easily solved with only one answer. i have a Acer 24 inch monitor at work that i had a dark wood background for my desktop and a good amount of pixels went solid red  it was the image my monitor couldn't display that exact shade of the color  or something so when i went to watch videos or surf the web it wasnt there anymore but once i popped up onto the desktop it appeared. Opened the image separately and noticed the color was the cause
