Nvidia PhysX Question

Question for you guys that are smarter than I am on this stuff.

 

When I am running the Firestrike benchmark and get the PhysX portion, my GPU utilization goes to 2% while my CPU spikes up to 98-100% utlization even though I went into Nvidia control panel and expressly set my PhysX to my GTX1070.

 

Any reasons or ideas?

So your CPU only spikes on the PhysX portion of the benchmark? What drivers are you running for the 1070?

This is simply because it's not a PhysX test but a physics test. Not related to what you set in the control panel. It's just a physical simulation designed to test the CPU

The latest available, 368.81 I downloaded them directly from the nvidia website before I installed my GTX1070 this afternoon. I also did a DDU on my old GTX760 drivers.
